Welcome to Sent For Purpose ("we," "us," "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of our website (sentforpurpose.com), your purchase of any products, and your attendance at any Sent For Purpose events, gatherings, or nights ("Events"). By using our website, purchasing a product, or registering for an Event, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Us
Sent For Purpose is an Australian faith-based clothing brand and community, hosting monthly events including Worship Nights and Community Nights, alongside an online and in-person retail store.
2. Products & Online Orders
2.1 Product Information
We make every effort to display our products, including colours, fabric, and sizing, as accurately as possible. Minor variations may occur due to screen settings or the nature of made-to-order production.
2.2 Made-to-Order Items
Some or all products may be made to order. Production and delivery timeframes will be communicated at checkout or via confirmation email. Please allow additional time during high-demand periods (e.g. following an Event).
2.3 Pricing
All prices are listed in AUD unless otherwise selected at checkout. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice, though this will not affect orders already placed.
2.4 Payment
Payment is processed securely through our website's payment provider(s). We do not store your full payment details.
2.5 Shipping
Shipping timeframes and costs are outlined in our separate Shipping Policy. Delays outside our control (e.g. courier delays) are not our responsibility, though we will assist where possible.
2.6 Returns & Exchanges
Please refer to our Shipping & Returns Policy for details on returns, exchanges, and faulty items. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
2.7 Discount Codes
Promotional codes (e.g. PURPOSE20) are valid for the period stated at the time of offer, cannot be combined with other offers unless specified, and may be withdrawn or changed at our discretion.
3. Events (Worship Nights & Community Nights)
3.1 Registration
Registration for an Event (via our website, Google Form, Humanitix, or other listed method) does not guarantee entry if capacity is reached. We will do our best to confirm your spot in advance.
3.2 Ticket Prices & Refunds
Where an Event has a ticket price, this covers materials, venue, and associated costs. Tickets are generally non-refundable, except where an Event is cancelled by us, in which case a refund or credit will be offered.
3.3 Event Changes or Cancellations
We reserve the right to change the date, time, venue, or format of an Event, or to cancel an Event, due to unforeseen circumstances. We will notify registered attendees as soon as possible.
3.4 Nature of Events
Our Events are community gatherings that may include music, worship, group activities (such as creative workshops), conversation, and an optional prayer space. Attendance and participation in any specific activity (including prayer) is always optional. No one is required to participate in any activity to attend.
3.5 Attendee Conduct
We ask all attendees to treat others with respect and kindness. We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask someone to leave an Event if their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful to other attendees, hosts, or venue staff.
3.6 Age Requirement
Unless otherwise stated, Events are open to adults. Where minors wish to attend, they must be accompanied by a parent/guardian, or specific permission must be obtained in advance.
3.7 Liability & Assumption of Risk
By attending an Event, you acknowledge that:
- Participation in any activity (including creative workshops, e.g. mug painting, or physical activities) is undertaken at your own risk.
- Sent For Purpose, its founders, volunteers, and any partnering venue or business are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from attendance at an Event, except where caused by our negligence, to the extent permitted by law.
- You are responsible for your own belongings at any Event.
3.8 Photography & Content
Events may be photographed or filmed for use in Sent For Purpose's marketing, social media, and website. By attending, you consent to the possible use of your image in this content, unless you notify us in advance that you do not wish to be photographed/filmed.
4. Website Use
4.1 Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including designs, logos, text, and images, is the property of Sent For Purpose and may not be reproduced without permission.
4.2 Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse our website, including attempting to disrupt its operation, access it in an unauthorised way, or use it for unlawful purposes.
5. Privacy
Any personal information you provide (e.g. via newsletter sign-up, Event registration, or checkout) is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
6. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website, purchase of products, or attendance at Events after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
